The idea of the receiving position of the Snatch is to maintain a vertical back. I have had some trouble with this as you can see the picture on the right side. After the first set which is the right side Coach Ben told me maybe I should receive the bar with a wider stance I listened and you can see a marked improvement in my back angle on the left side of the picture which was my 4th set. I couldn't figure this out on my own and needed a coach and that coach needed to tinker his form last Saturday which made him think it would help me out. Once your form is pretty spot on and consistent you can tinker with small things that make you better its a never ending process to perfect these movements.
